Is saving the relationship the wise thing to do? If you answered yes you're on the right track. If you answered no then there could be something hindering at your heart and not saving the relationship could also be just as wise.

Ask yourself this question, are you spending more time upset in the relationship then actually being happy? If yes, I suggest you seek professional Christian counseling. Don't run to a friend or disclose your marital issues with family. That is a big no, no! Always speak to someone that has biblical based principles, possibly a pastor, or a leader in the church would be the wise thing to do.

You're still trying to get accustomed to one another's habits and getting used to living together. That's why communication is very important in a relationship. Guard your heart from any pride or un-forgiveness. Meet with each other and speak in love. Don't argue or disrespect one another with deceitful words. Grab each other by the hand and pray for one another. Ask God to restore your relationship and seek the word of God together and individually. I promise you that if you follow these steps you will find to believe that yes, is saving your relationship the wise thing to do.

God is our helper when things are troubled at home. Marriage is intended till death do us part. You made a convenient to each other under God. God wants us to totally depend on him no matter what it is even if it's making a big decision, your relationship, or as little as asking God to guide you. It is a great joy when you fully depend on God. God brings peace and restoration when you surrender all to him.

For those men reading this article, you have a role in the marriage. You are a leader and your wife is your partner. She doesn't belong in front of you, nor behind you, your wife belongs by your side. You're not each other's enemy. You're on the same team. Men love your wife unconditionally through Jesus Christ and women submit to your husband in respect and honor. If you both follow these commands from God you will succeed in your relationship.
